VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren opened Let it Rock on London's King's Road in 1971. Their shop evolved with the music and street cultures of the decade, before the Pirate collection marked their first collaborative catwalk show in 1981. Historical dress, tailoring and a questioning spirit became lasting reference points in Westwood's work.
