LEVI'S
Levi Strauss opened his San Francisco dry-goods business in 1853. In 1873, Strauss and tailor Jacob Davis patented the use of rivets to reinforce work trousers, establishing the foundation of the blue jean. Levi's continues to draw on that history through denim shapes whose character develops through cut, construction, fabric and finish.
