Auguste Michel opened his millinery at 65 rue Sainte-Anne in Paris in 1936, beginning the history of Maison Michel. The atelier developed through close work with fashion houses and specialist knowledge of hat-making. Its collections translate that heritage into contemporary headwear, where the shape of the crown, the brim and the chosen material define each design.
